Charity Golf Tournament 2021 “Golfers Help”

For the rourth time, the law firm Kanzlei am Kaiserberg, under the leadership of Ronny Jasinski, hosted the golf tournament “Golfer helfen” (golfers help) for the benefit of the ZAC project work. The tournament, which has become a tradition in the meantime, takes on a family atmosphere because many golfers and sponsors have been participating since the first tournament.

Around 70 golfers were again at the start, including former MSV Duisburg players such as Marvin Compper, Werner Schneider, Ferry Schmidt, Rainer Schütterle, Erdal Keser, Rudi Seliger and Peter Neururer.

Despite adverse weather conditions, some outstanding results were achieved on this tournament day. Our special thanks go to the organisers, sponsors and golfers for a successful tournament that raised over 12,000 Euros for our project work. The golfers won great prizes and in some cases improved their handicap.

ZAC Charity Golf Tournament 2020

On Friday, September 25, 2020, the second edition of the ZAC charity golf tournament ” Golfers Help” started at the golf course “Golf & More” in Duisburg-Huckingen.

Like last year, the players tee off at 18 holes. About 60 golfers could participate in the tournament, which was limited in the number of participants by Corona.

We had halved the starting fee in relation to last year. Now it was only 50,00 Euro. With a contribution of 500,00 Euro (and more) each, many sponsors ensured a great success for our work in Tanzania.

In total, the net proceeds amounted to about 10.000 Euro.

ZAC-Charity golf tournament 2019

On September 13th 2019, the organizers Ronny Jasinski (Kanzlei am Kaiserberg) and Thomas Maaßen (Rhenus Logistics and also ZAC Vice) hosted the first ZAC charity golf tournament on the Golf & More complex in Duisburg-Huckingen in favor of our project work out.
All proceeds from the sponsorship and entry fees will be credited to the project work of the ZAC Children’s Village project “Angaza Children’s Village” in Lutindi, Tanzania.

A field of more than 60 golfers started in small groups at 12.00 in the cannon launch over the full distance of 18 holes. For almost every Whole we could win a sponsor (see Slideshow). Some golfing legends of the MSV Duisburg were assigned to the individual groups.
At around 5 pm the tournament ended with a cool-down party at the barbecue and the award ceremony with attractive category prices for women and men (such as trips to Mallorca). All golfers had great fun in good weather and with a preliminary result for the ZAC e.V. of more than 4,250 euros also good causes.

At the end of the event, Ronny Jasinski announced that this charity tournament will not be a one-off event, but will become an annual event in Duisburg’s golf calendar.

Thanks to all initiators, sponsors and golfers.
